ABOUT YAH

YAH is the eternal name of The Creator/Father of the Heavens, the Angels (stars), the sun, the moon, the earth, everything in the Heavens, on and under the earth. HE created time when HE created the Sun and the Moon. YAH means I AM. HE is Self-Existent, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Eternal. HE has always been and will always be! [Gen 1:26, Deut 6:4, John 10:30, 17:21]

Although The Romans damned the memory of YAH via “damnatio memoriae”, YAH kept HIS name in a few scriptures and resources. YAH is the Treasure that we are to find! [Prov 25:2, Matt 13:44-46]

Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.

In the online Strong’s Concordance by Biblehub, Hebrew # 3050, defines the word “Yah” as: “the name of the God of Israel”.

The Hebrew Israelites often named themselves using The Creator’s Name: Yirme-YAH (Jeremiah), Neehem-YAH (Nehemiah), Sera-YAH (Seraiah), Chizqi-YAH (Hezekiah), etc.

We are able to search the website SLAVEVOYAGES.ORG to see YAH’s name in many of the African names of the enslaved people of the Atlantic Slave Trade.

These were some of YAH’s Covenant People called by HIS name!

2. Search the Top Menu on the Right for: the “People of the Atlantic Slave Trade” Databases and Click on it.

3. Select “African Origins” under “Enslaved Databases”. Data will appear.

4. Search the Top Sub-Menu on the Left for: “African Name” and Click on it.

5. Type the word “yah” or “YAH” In the “Name” field.

6. Turn on the “Exact Search” Button.

7. Click on the “Apply” Button

8. 824 entries and 55 pages of African names with “yah” in them will result from this search.
